California Becomes First State to Ban Styrofoam Containers

Restaurants in the state of California will no longer be able to offer patrons Styrofoam containers starting in 2016, state legislators voted Friday.

The ban also applies to schools as well.  This is major progress as styrofoam pollutes our environment much in the same manner as plastic carry bags.  Read more from KTLA News below:
