Join us on July 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a night of machine sewing and crocheting at the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn. Choose one of two projects and leave with the perfect reusable tote. Bags for the people will be teaching how to sew our signature draw-string market bags and Clair of Montclair Made will be teaching how to crochet your cache of plastic bags into a woven bag. Bring your plastic collection (she recommends 20-30 bags), spin them into “plarn,” and crochet into the perfect picnic tote.
Event: Hands-On: Market Bags
What: Make a drawstring bag with Bags for the People or learn to use plastic to crochet from Montclair Made.
Enter a raffle to win surprises from Timeless Treasures Fabrics.
