See the visually stunning and inspiring “Planet Earth” under the stars on the night of Earth Day. Rooftop Films and BBC America presenta free screening of the original uncut Sir David Attenborough-narrated version of “Planet Earth,” followed by the World Premiere of “The Making of Planet Earth.” Don’t miss the earth friendly fun and food trucks!

The original uncut “Planet Earth” series, which has captivated audiences around the world in over 130 countries, comes to BBC America as part of a very special two-day celebration of Earth Day, Saturday April 21 & Sunday April 22. This weekend marathon marks the first time that the series will be broadcast in its entirety and with its original narrator, world famous naturalist Sir David Attenborough, in the U.S. (Episode 1 – From Pole to Pole, TRT: 60 minutes)

Then, go behind-the-scenes for a World Premiere two-hour special, “The Making of Planet Earth,” which details the incredible adventures of the wildlife filmmakers who traveled all over the planet to create Planet Earth. Featuring exclusive new interviews with the award-winning team behind the epic eleven-part series. (The Making of Planet Earth, TRT: approx 88 min)
